Lost Continent.

A rumoured land, spoken of in the veiled refuges of esoteric princes and the meeting places of those who truly understand the sacred arts of the freemason. Scrawled clues are left behind the hanging tapestries of an unknown mountain tribe, their insistence growing as we climb further into the rarefied heights. A raving sea captain, cast away for years, tells a tale to all that will listen that cannot be believed, then is suddenly found, murdered in circumstances that cannot be explained.

A land thought for centuries to be beyond the hand of man, finally discovered. An unknown landscape explored, the veil lifted, the wonders within stumbled upon at last, unknowingly and perhaps, even, unwittingly.

This is the second chapter of twelve, the arrival upon a shore that may never have seen the footprint of man. There is elation that the journey is over, tinged by the sorrow felt by those stepping upon the surface as they remember those who were lost during the crossing. The doldrums and green water faced with grim determination by the expedition, suddenly replaced by calm seas and the familiar calls of seabirds (though, are they in fact almost imperceptibly different?). They will celebrate the arrival tonight, but tomorrow they know they must venture into the unknown.

“They walked with heads held so high, they could not see their reflections in the water below, straining to return from whence they’d come”

Anon.

An epic journey soundtracked across the divide of time by just two men (known to their contemporaries as Alex Egan & Benedict Bull), where only the wildest evocation of sounds and space could do the tale justice. It will be a trip to echo that which went before. The first few of those attending will receive an auditory document of the event as well…
