On Saturday 14th July I’ll be heading over to Peckham to play at the Resident Cochons party alongside (fellow Camberwell College of Art alumnus) Gaucho and Trickey.
Some info on the event below:
“This time around we welcome talented selector, Phonica Records resident and south London stalwart, Alex Egan, onto the decks for a 3 hour headline, dancefloor set.
Always digging for the latest underground records and sounds, Alex has been at it for 15+ years, from the early days of being championed by Erol Alkan and Optimo to most recently playing at Kala festival alongside the likes of Peggy Gou and XOYO for Ben UFO’s residency!
He is label manager at Phonica and regularly represents the world renowned record shop as one of their lead selectors.
He has also hosted many radio shows over the years including for Rinse FM and NTS and alongside friends promotes his own regular nights at The Gun (Homerton), The Alibi (Dalston) and also in Peckham.
He runs his own personal label, Utter, which has released music from none other than Trevor Jackson and Jack Latham (Jam City) with a new 12″ on the way from O Yuki Conjugate featuring remixes from Tolouse Low Trax & Howes.
Need I say more!!! It would be criminal to
miss this one. We can’t wait to welcome him down to our home, Tola.
As always, warm up, and warm down come from residents Gaucho and Trickey.
£5 on the door all night”
